You sign in to Toreca Cloud with your email and password. If you've added a passkey, you can sign in without typing a password. Once you're in, the console opens on the shop you belong to.

## Sign in

1. **Enter your email and password**

    On the sign-in page, enter your email and password and click **Sign in**. To
    use a passkey, click **Sign in with a passkey** instead. If **Sign in with
    Google** is shown, you can also use a Google account with the same email
    address you registered.

2. **Enter your two-factor code**

    If you've set up two-factor authentication, enter the 6-digit code from your
    authenticator app. It continues on its own once all six digits are in.
    Passkey and Google sign-ins skip this step.

3. **Choose a shop**

    If you belong to one shop, it opens right away. If you belong to several,
    **Choose a shop** appears; pick the one you want to work in.

After signing in you land on the Dashboard. Members with the Researcher role start on Research instead.

### If you can't use your authenticator app

On the code screen, click **Can't use your authenticator app?** to sign in with a recovery code. Recovery codes are the 10 codes you saved when you set up two-factor authentication.

### If you forgot your password

1. **Get a reset link**

    On the sign-in page, click **Forgot password?**. Enter your email and click
    **Send reset link**. A reset email arrives shortly.

2. **Set a new password**

    Open the link in the email and set a new password of at least 12 characters.
    The link expires after 1 hour. If it has expired, start over.

## Join a shop from an invitation

When a shop's owner or admin invites you, you get an invitation email. Open the link to see the shop and the role you're being invited with.

- New to Toreca Cloud: enter a display name and password, then click **Create account**. Open the link in the verification email, come back to the invitation page, and click **Join this business**.
- Already have an account: click **Already have an account? Sign in to join**, sign in, and join.

Invitations are valid for 7 days. An expired link shows **This invite link isn't valid**; ask the person who invited you to resend it.

**Create an account** on the sign-in page sets up a brand-new shop. To join an existing shop, register from the link in your invitation email.

## Switch shops

If you belong to more than one shop, switch between them from the account menu in the sidebar.

1. **Open the account menu**

    Click the button with your name and shop name at the bottom of the sidebar.

2. **Pick a shop**

    **Organizations** lists every shop you belong to, with **Current** next to
    the one you're in. Pick another shop to switch to its home page.

The page you had open doesn't carry over. Open the page you need again after switching.

## Change the display language

In the account menu, choose **日本語** or **English** under **Language**. Your choice is saved to your account, so you see the same language when you sign in on another device. Before signing in, use the language switch below the sign-in form.

## Keep your sign-in secure

Under **Settings** › **Account** › **Sign-in and security**, you can:

- Change your password. Choose **Sign out of all other devices** to end sessions on your other devices as well.
- **Set up two-factor authentication**. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app and enter the 6-digit code. Be sure to save the 10 recovery codes shown at the end.
- **Add passkey**, so you can sign in with your fingerprint, face or PIN.
- Review **Signed-in devices**. If you see a device you don't recognize, click **Sign out** to end its session.
