Buy boosts are the cards and boxes your shop wants to buy at a higher price than usual. For each one you set a boosted price per piece and how many more you'll buy. Boosts show up during appraisals, and with an integration you can also publish them to landing pages and X posts.

Open **Buy boosts** from the sidebar. Members who can work on purchases can add and edit boosts.

## Add a buy boost

1. **Open the form**

    Click **Add buy boost**.

2. **Choose the item**

Under **Item**, choose a card from the card catalog. Boxes, packs and decks
    can be chosen too.

3. **Choose a grade**

To boost only PSA 10, for example, set a **Grade**. Leave it unset to cover
every grade. Boxes, packs and decks have no grade.

4. **Set the price and quantity**

Enter the **Boosted price (per piece)** and **How many more to buy**. If you
don't want a limit, choose **No limit**.

5. **Set the dates and note**

Under **Dates (Japan time)**, enter a start and end date. A blank start date
begins now, and a blank end date has no end. You can also pick **Today**,
**3 days** or **1 week**. If you want a line shown with the boost on landing
pages and posts, write it in **Public note (optional)**.

6. **Add it**

Click **Add**. The boost appears under **Active & upcoming**.

You can have only one buy boost that hasn't ended for each card and grade.

## How the remaining quantity goes down

The remaining quantity drops by the number of pieces in the quote when you record acceptance of the final quote. If a purchase completes without acceptance being recorded, it drops at that point instead. Only live boosts count down. When a card matches both a grade-specific boost and an any-grade boost, the grade-specific one is used first.

If you record the acceptance and then leave some cards out when you register the deal, their pieces are added back. The edit form's **Purchases** section shows which deals used how many.

When the remaining quantity reaches 0, the boost shows **Limit reached**.

## How boosts show in appraisals

In the appraisal items, a matching card shows something like "Buy boost PSA 10 ¥12,000 · 2 left" under its market price. A boost that isn't live shows its status, for example "(Paused)".

:::note
The boosted price isn't applied to the appraisal amount automatically. To buy at the boosted price, adjust the amount in the appraisal.

## Edit, pause and end

Each row shows the boosted price, market price, how many are left, how many have been bought, and the dates. The statuses are:

| Status | Meaning |
| ------------- | ------------------------------ |
| Live | Within its dates and accepting |
| Upcoming | Its start date hasn't arrived |
| Limit reached | The remaining quantity is 0 |
| Expired | Its end date has passed |
| Paused | Paused |
| Ended | Ended |

- **Edit** changes the boosted price, remaining quantity, dates and public note. Setting the remaining quantity to 0 closes the boost. The item can't be changed; to change it, end the boost and add a new one.
- **Pause** takes the boost off connected apps. **Resume** puts it back.
- **End** removes it from connected apps and can't be undone. Ended boosts stay under the **Ended** tab with their purchase records.

## Publish to landing pages and X posts

Apps allowed **Read buy boosts** under Integrations can read your live buy boosts. They get information such as the boosted price, how many are left and the dates, but no stock. To add a partner app, see [Integrations](/en/guides/settings/partners).
