LINE and notifications
Connecting your LINE Official Account and Liny, editing the LINE messages you send customers, and setting up staff notifications.
The settings for talking with customers on LINE, and for the notifications your staff receive, are under Settings › Business.
LINE
LINE connects your shop’s LINE Official Account to Toreca Cloud. Only owners and admins can change it.
Register your official account
Click Connect LINE and enter your Official account ID.
Choose the messages to send
Under Messages to send, choose what Toreca Cloud sends on LINE. The options are Quote delivery and Difference check.
With Quote delivery set to Sent automatically when the quote is presented, the quote page shows Send quote on LINE. Turning on Difference check lets you ask the customer on LINE, from the deal, about differences between what they declared and what arrived.
The page also shows your number of friends and the status of the intake form. Use Copy link under Intake form delivery to get the link to the buying intake form you share on LINE.
Import customers’ images
To bring the images customers send on LINE into Toreca Cloud, click Set up channel under Image import (Messaging API). Enter the Channel ID and Channel secret from LINE Developers, then click Verify and save. The channel secret isn’t shown again after you save it.
Connect Liny or L Step
Set up Liny or L Step at the bottom of the LINE page. Use Add tool to add up to 3 in total per shop. Once connected, LINE friends and chats are imported into Toreca Cloud about every 5 minutes.
For each connection you can:
- Add intake form IDs under Automatic intake from Liny forms, so each form response creates a buying request.
- Turn on Also add customers automatically for first-time applications from LINE to register first-time applicants as customers.
- Turn on Sync deal stages to Liny to reflect each deal’s progress in Liny tags and status marks.
Enter the API token and webhook authentication key issued in Liny under Details and connection settings.
LINE messages
LINE messages holds the templates for the LINE messages you send customers. They’re used when you click Draft LINE message on a deal, for example, with the deal’s amounts and names filled in.
| Group | Messages |
|---|---|
| Quotes | Preliminary quote, Revised quote, Final quote |
| Intake to shipping | Form link, Shipping request, Tracking number reminder |
| Arrival to payout | Cards arrived, Payout completed, Return notice |
| Quote withdrawal | Quote withdrawn |
Open a message and edit the text. Use Values to insert to drop in values such as the customer’s name or the amount. Preview shows how it looks both when every value is filled and when some are empty. Click Save changes to save, or Restore default to go back to the original. Edited messages are marked Edited.
Notifications
Notifications decides where staff notifications go and which events send them. There are three channels: email, Telegram and desktop notifications.
Set up channels
- Email goes to the members each event is meant for. Under Extra recipients, you can add up to 10 addresses outside your members.
- For Telegram, register your bot’s token with Connect bot, then choose the groups to notify with Add group. Use Send test to check delivery.
- Desktop notifications arrive once a member turns on Turn on desktop notifications in their own browser. They can also do this from the Account page.
Choose notification types
In the Notification types table, choose which events go to which channel. Events are grouped into appraisals and quotes, research requests, intake and LINE, customer activity, arrivals and inspections, settlements and payouts, and inventory. For example, you can choose Quote review requested, New buying request, Identity documents submitted, Payout awaiting approval or Payout failed. Click Save changes when you’re done.
You aren’t notified about things you did yourself. If a notification doesn’t arrive, check the last 30 deliveries under Recent deliveries.
