Settings at a glance
What each item under Settings is for and what you decide there.
Open Settings from the bottom of the sidebar. Settings are grouped into Organization, Business and Personal.
In general, only owners and admins can change settings. Other members see most settings as view only.
Organization
Your shop’s own details, and how it relates to members and other businesses.
| Item | What it’s for |
|---|---|
| Organization | Your business name, address, contact details, secondhand dealer license and company seal. These appear on quotes and in the secondhand ledger |
| Members | Invite members, change roles and suspend access. See Members and roles |
| Scanner devices | The iPhones signed in to the putaway app. Use Revoke to shut off a device you no longer use |
| Business links | Link with other businesses so you can transfer stock to each other |
| Audit log | Who did what and when. Filter by period or action, and export to CSV |
| Ledger | The secondhand ledger of goods you bought. Download as CSV or print |
Organization
Under Business details, enter your legal name, the name shown to customers, address, phone and support email. Under Secondhand dealer license, add your license number and Public Safety Commission. Until a license is added, its number can’t appear in the ledger or on documents you give customers.
Upload an image under Company seal to print your seal in the issuer box of quote PDFs. Use a PNG or JPEG of 1 MB or less.
Scanner devices and business links
Revoking a scanner device stops putaway, stock counts and picking on it. A revoke can’t be undone.
To link with another business, share Your organization ID with them, or click Request link and enter Their organization ID. Once they approve, you’re linked and can transfer stock to each other. Customers, cases and inventory lists are not shared. The transfer steps are in Outbound, transfers and handovers.
Audit log and ledger
The audit log lets you filter member actions separately from actions taken by integrated apps. Export CSV exports up to 10,000 entries at a time.
An entry is added to the secondhand ledger when you record a customer’s acceptance of a final quote. Use Download CSV to export it and Print to keep a paper copy. Only owners and admins can view the ledger.

Notifications, LINE and LINE messages are covered in LINE and notifications.
Condition tags
Condition tags record a card’s condition on a stock unit. Create them with Add condition tag, and use Rename or Archive as needed. Renaming a tag also renames it on units that already carry it and in the stock data sent to integrations. An archived tag can’t be added to new units, but it stays on units that already have it.
Carriers
Record the carriers you use, with your contract number or customer code. Toreca Cloud doesn’t connect to carriers’ systems. Book pickups and create shipping labels with the carrier directly, then record the tracking number and label image on the deal.
Payouts
Payout settings hold the details needed to create a Zengin bulk-transfer file: your originator code (10 digits), originator name in kana, and the paying bank, branch and account. Japan Post Bank accounts can’t be used as the paying account.
You also set the payout rules here.
- With Second approval set to Required, payouts over the amount in Approval required above must be checked and approved one at a time by an approver.
- Default transfer date sets the starting transfer date for Zengin files: the same day as approval, the next business day, or 2 business days after approval.
The payout work itself is covered in Payouts.
CloudSign
Under CloudSign, add the URLs of your contract and power of attorney templates. Toreca Cloud doesn’t send documents to CloudSign for you. Send them from CloudSign and record the result in Toreca Cloud. A power of attorney is needed when the payout account isn’t in the customer’s own name.
MCP
The MCP page shows how to connect AI assistants such as Claude to your shop, and lists the assistants currently connected. For how to connect, see AI agents (MCP).
Personal
Under Account, set your display name and profile photo, password, two-factor authentication, passkeys and desktop notifications. See Signing in and choosing a shop for details.
